Role and Responsibilities:

As a Certified Plumbing Technician, you will:

Specific Job Requirements:

Certified Plumbing Technicians must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, including as follows:

Location

  • Field position. Daily duties will be performed in and around Pierce County.
  • Paperwork and money collected is returned to the office located in University Place.

Compensation

  • At Your Service Plumbing offers a competitive performance-based compensation plan where Certified Plumbing Technicians earn 20% of the revenue they generate. In addition to this performance pay, you will receive a base hourly rate for sick time, PTO, and overtime. We also provide opportunities for additional earnings through SPIFFs for client memberships and positive reviews.

Working Conditions

  • Typically, a 40-hour work week with four ten-hour shifts per week. Position does require additional hours during “on-call” rotation and when necessary to finish work in progress.
  • Must be available for on-call rotation.
  • Work includes working indoors and outdoors, in inclement weather and temperature extremes.

Educational Requirements

  • You must maintain your certification by obtaining the required continuing education credits.
  • Other training which promotes sales, client relations and personal growth is expected.

Drug/Alcohol Testing/Motor Vehicle Testing—Safety Sensitive Position

  • This position is safety sensitive position for which impairment while working presents a substantial risk of death, within the meaning of RCW 49.44.240(3)(g).
  • Drug/Alcohol Testing/Motor Vehicle Testing may be performed prior to employment and at random times during employment with no advanced knowledge. If position includes access to a company vehicle, motor vehicle checks will also be performed.
